The Alligators, a kiddie beat band from Örebro, Sweden, which was promoted as the youngest pop band in Sweden when they formed in 1963. The band consisted of lead guitarist Hans Olof ”Lollo” Andersson 12, drummer Sjunne Ferger 13, rhythm guitarist Jürgen Håhr 16 and bass player Anders Hallbäck 17 and they mainly played around Örebro and Hallsberg, but also made a one off tour to Norway. Due to the members young age they were not allowed to perform after 22:00, but Lollo’s & Sjunne’s mom’s, Kate & Åse, helped them to get a special permit and was also the band’s drivers and roadies. In 1964 their only 45 was released on Nashville. The B-side Baby go round is the highlight with a wicked guitar break. The production is quite polished while the performance is crude and simple. The band had a couple of member changes but folded in 1965.
