The popularity of social ping pong and table tennis has grown exponentially in Bristol over the last three years.
'Spring of Ping' is a three minute documentary created for the Bristol 0117 Film Challenge, featuring Nix, Queen of the Kings of Ping - A group of Bristol based ping pong party people! (Kings of Ping originally formed for the Shambala Festival in 2009). Nix has also been instrumental in helping get tables into public spaces around the city through 'Ping! Bristol' (Ping! is a street ping pong project delivered in Bristol by the council in conjunction with the English Table Tennis Association).
This three minute film is a glimpse into the social and recreational ping pong scene in Bristol and even features some 'secret pingers' from the famous Mack Daddys hair dressers.
