Support Noel's Retro Lab on Patreon: I bought an unused Commodore 64 on a whim, so I'm going to try to restore it as much as possible. When I turned it on we got the all-too-common black screen, but we were able to track down the issue and fix it pretty quickly.
Then we moved on to cleaning the case the the keys. The case took multiple passes with soap, window cleaner, and baking soda along with lots of elbow grease, but we eventually managed to get it nice and clean.
Finally, I decided to try to restore the cardboard box. It was in absolutely horrible condition, and there's so much you can do with it, but in the end it was cleaner and better looking than it was when we started, so that was a success.
