Karthika Vaidyanathan is a musician and a music educator. She runs a music school called Swarakshara. She is also a playback singer and her song Kankal Etho from Chithha movie is very popular and has won several awards. She is a fourth generation Musician in her family and has been seen on Idea Star Singer as a contestant several years ago. She has several songs in Malayalam and Tamil Films. She is a disciple of renowned Carnatic Musician Bombay Jayashree and her student is actor Aparna Balamurali.
