This piece of music began with live improvised electronics, including the
Moog Grandmother, ARP-2600, Buchla 208c Easel Command, Moog DFAM, eurorack for drums and effects processing, and a Sequential Circuits OB-6. I then added orchestra, because I'm very much fascinated by that combination of a large orchestra with electronics more out in front of the mix leading the piece, instead of reinforcing the orchestra. Someday, I will take my entire setup and perform in front of a large orchestra.

Since I work primarily in cinematic and film music, this piece of music follows a scene of love, longing, and loss.

Patch Notes:
Buchla 208c Easel Command controlled by Make Noise 0-ctrl, to Erbeverb, to 4ms Tapographic Delay to X-Pan (controlled by Intellijel Quadrax), to Boss RC-5 looper pedal, to Eventide H9 pedal.
Random voltage to timbre, modulation, inverted to waveshape
Sequential voltage to complex oscillator pitch
Envelope generator to low pass gate

Moog Grandmother:
Normalled patch with sawtooth and pulse waves. Providing upper notes of the chord and arpeggios

ARP-2600
Sawooth from oscillators 1 and 3, pulse from oscillator 2. This provides the bass sound.

OB-6 controlled by novation Bass Station II via midi.

DFAM receiving random clock from Frap Tools Sapèl.
Basimilus Iteritas Alter receiving random gates from Stillson Hammer sequencer.
