Dr. Campitelli earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine, formerly known as the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania.

He began practicing in 2004 and is now the Chief of Podiatry at both Western Reserve Hospital and UH Portage Medical Center.
