Salvation is the free gift of God offered to all who repent of their sins and believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. Repentance means turning away from sin and acknowledging our need for a Savior and believing the gospel means trusting that Jesus who is the Son of God lived a perfect life and died on the cross to bear the wrath of God we deserve for our sins, He rose again to give us eternal life. Through faith in Christ alone we are forgiven and reconciled to God and granted the promise of eternal life with Him. “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel” (Mark 1:15)
