Barry Sheldrick, director of sales at Meridian Audio, Introduces the new meridian DSP 520.2, hailed as the best performing architectural speakers yet from the brand. With two amplifiers per drive unit, each with their own DAC, power output is prodigious, at 140 dB at 1m. This makes them ideal for home cinema installations, where they can provide the L/C/R. They can be stacked for larger theaters. They also have a bass extension down to 50Hz.
The DSP 520.2 also have an L+R model, which means a single speaker can be placed under a television, where it can function as an in-wall soundbar.
