This is the english version version of this song, the german version was published a day before:
"The Surens Song" is a pirate shanty - hard metal tunes mixed with the sof call of the sirens.
This song is part of the "Tortuga" series, an album featuring party songs, and another one for dancing (like in dance school – ballroom, Latin, possibly with a few bonus dances).
Welcome to Tortuga! The infamous pirate island, mentioned in many stories and well-known in the role-playing and LARP scenes. What better place could there be for a pirate party?
The songs together should provide a solid foundation for a pirate-themed party, much like the previous series about undead pirates.
The unique aspect of this series is that all songs will be released in both German and English.

______________________________
It all started with me creating a few songs for my DnD bard, "Peacock," and to easily share them with my gaming group, the YouTube channel was born. Maybe someone else could find the songs useful too?
Then, the bard got the devil’s fiddle, and suddenly, the viewer numbers shot up. And when my Dungeon Master came up with the idea for my bard to perform at a themed party hosted by Mephistopheles (the archdevil with whom Peacock had to make a pact to get the devil’s fiddle), with the theme "Undead Pirates," and the first songs were released, the channel "exploded" (OK... the most exciting part was waiting to reach 100 subscribers... 97 – almost there, and then two drop out... drama!!! ;) )
Since a few people enjoy my songs and I have a blast creating them and learning everything around it, they are now being distributed through a distributor (and one even got monetized on Spotify... it hit 1,000 streams – Yay, 3€!!!)
Well, from undead pirates, it’s not such a big leap to living ones... and so the journey continues...
Thank you for listening!
Yours,
Peacock
Lyrics:
On stormy seas where waves are wild
We sail through night and tempest's roar
In every heart, a fire riled
Far from home, from safety's shore
But from afar, do you hear it ring?
A song so sweet, so strong, so pure
It pulls us in, makes spirits sing
The voices call, we can't ignore
(Hear me, pirates, hear my song)
(The wind will lead you to your grave)
(My tune entices, soft yet strong)
(To darkened depths, where shadows wave)
We follow blind, the sweet refrain
The way back lost, no turning round
The sea, it growls, yet peace we gain
In the moment, we are bound
But what calls out, more than a dream
A shadow sweeps across the tide
The gods, they sing, their voices gleam
Yet through the storm, we boldly glide
(Hear me, pirates, hear my song)
(The wind will lead you to your grave)
(My tune entices, soft yet strong)
(To darkened depths, where shadows wave)
(Your hearts grow cold within your chest)
(Death draws near, are you prepared?)
We fight the curse, we face the test
But darkness pulls, we are ensnared
The waves crash down above our heads
The sirens laugh, so loud and clear
A final breath, the water spreads
Our fate is sealed, the end is near
But even in the deathly deep
We won't forget the life we knew
We are the ghosts the sea will keep
Eternity our spirits' due
(Hear me, pirates, hear my song)
(The wind will lead you to your grave)
(My tune entices, soft yet strong)
(To darkened depths, where shadows wave)
But we are one with this vast sea
And with you, we shall sing on
Of freedom and the distant plea
Pirates, forever, we are drawn
