TOOL is one of the biggest names in "guitar world"! This L.A. based 4 piece influenced 2 generations of musicians and continues to break ground to this day 30 years later after their establishment. Fan favourites "LATERALUS" and "AENIMA" are often talked about and are regarded as TOOL's finest work... which leaves their debut "UNDERTOW" in their shadows. However a lot of thought and work went into the production of this album... some of the facts are well known and some are obscure. It's always fascinating to see and hear any artist's early work, as it's easier to relate to... as it's before all the success... early work is written without any knowledge of what the fate of produced work will be. Will it succeed or will it fail? So in this rockumentary we will be having a look at how TOOL dealt with L.A. metal scene of early 90's and what separated them from grunge and pretty much everyone else from day 1! We will also have a look at the technical side of the production of this effort for which we should thank Sylvia Massy! I hope you will enjoy this ride as much as I did! I call this "GENIUS OF TOOL: UNDERTOW"
