I love oldschool hardcore... where did it go? I wasn't alive to witness it myself, but I sure am glad that I at least get to listen to it! Modern hardcore is just pure adrenaline, which I have no problem with. But Gabber... the oldschool hardcore... it had a greater feeling. It had a feeling beyond happiness or sadness, love or anger. It is a feeling that is indescribable, a feeling I call The Thunderdome Feeling. Call me a weirdo, a freak, or obsessed. I am all of the above, but what I sure as heck am not is ashamed to be a Gabber!

This video is thanks to a buddy who I helped out during a hard part of his life. He was very depressed and didn't have many friends at the time I met him, but the second I told him about Gabber he was very intrigued by my passion for the music. I played Name of The DJ by Chosen Few for him the next day, and from that day forward he became just as much of a Gabber as me. Because I sadly live in America, Gabbers are extremely hard to come by. I was surprised myself by how much and how quickly that one song changed his life, since to most others that music may as well have been a thousand chainsaws being thrown onto a giant pit of bubble wrap. Thanks to him I now have a reliable friend who I can always trust and open up to. Thanks to me he has gotten over depression and now has discovered the incredible world of oldschool Gabber. Hakkuh!
