
Over a longer period of time, people fail to beat the SP500, so why all the hazzle of analysing stocks when you can get a steady 10% annual return? For most people this could be a golden opportunity, since beating the market in a 10 year period or longer, is extremele hard.
Sure we are capable of beating the SP500 in a shorter period of time, but we're talking long term here.
And yes there some companies that have a big stake in this ETF, like Apple or Microsoft. But does it matter that much? These are one of the best companies out there, so why bother?
