Maeva's Dad has come to help for a few days and there was no soft start for him today as all the wood, metal, rubble and general waste had to be cleared from the side and the back of the house. It was heavy going but the end result is a pretty clean slate now to do a big push ahead of our 14th of February deadline to move into the house!A bit more plastering tomorrow and a big clean up in the kitchen as I hope to start installing it in the next few days.

This is a daily vlog of our self-renovation of a French Townhouse which was originally built sometime in the 1930s. We left Ireland in August 2023 with our two kids and two dogs in search of a family home and these videos are a way to document the process for ourselves, as well as hopefully inspiring others to take on a similar project.
