Grab this remix for free on Bandcamp (press $0 after clicking buy): Everyone is posting their remix of this song lately, so I decided to jump on too. I wanted to try something different from everyone else, so I focused on the rapping parts and did away with the melodic singing parts. Chopped Koa's vocals and retimed them a little to get a different sort of groove on them by starting one beat later. Pretty satisfied with how the percussion turned out, felt quite dancey to me. Also pulled some background elements in the original song into the forefront, namely the siren and the brassy sounds which I ended up chopping into a new rhythmic context.
