"What does this one mean? 'It's a good day to be a sidewalk,'" Jimmy Fallon asked.
"Oh, this one was here in New York. Yeah, sorry. I don't know why I'm acting like this is important," mgk said. "But this guy, this TikToker guy who does like, 'what makes you confident,' came up to me randomly, and I was in the middle of a phone call, and I was super thrown off. Dude, I biffed it. Everyone's in the comments like, 'This dude such an idiot,' like... And I'm also like, I said it, I'm like, 'Hey, I'm not confident,' and anyway... So after I got done with that, I knew in my head, 'Oh, okay, that sucked,' like, 'You should probably practice being confident.' So I looked down at the ground, and my feet were stepping all over the sidewalk, and I was like, 'You're welcome.'"
"Cause you're confident," Jimmy Fallon said.
"Well, like, 'Hey, my feet are on you,' like this is... 'The pleasure is yours.' I don't know if I should be on Twitter now that..." mgk said.
"No, you're a great follow," Jimmy Fallon said. mgk is very funny and hilarious.
FYI: The TikToker guy mgk was talking about is David Carmi (@confidenceheist). mgk ranomly did an interview with this TikToker in New York the other day. "What makes you confident?" the interviewer named David Carmi asked mgk.
"Absolutely nothing. I'm looking for that every day," mgk said.
"Do you have any advice for someone who is struggling with their mental health?" the interviewer asked.
"Read books. There's beautiful answers in those," mgk said.
"Is there one book that you have read that kind of got you out?" the interviewer asked.
"Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu (Laozi)," mgk said.
