Trying Mangosteen for the First Time

I recently heard Mangosteen’s really good for health on a podcast and happened to see it at Hmart.
So we tried it for the first time. Korea is not tropical so we don’t have tropical fruits like mangosteen. I’m not 100% sure if the fruit was fresh enough to taste at its best. So tell us what it’s supposed to taste like at its best state.
