
Remember then, that OCD is NOT your friend!
We know that it can feel like OCD is looking out for you and trying to keep you safe. But the truth is that OCD is not going to keep you safe, and OCD does not care about your well-being.
Instead, OCD isolates you, causes you suffering, and makes you feel bad about yourself. No true and loving friend would constantly run you down and keep you trapped in a cycle of fear and despair.
So, while OCD is not your friend, remember that there are people here in our community who care and who are here to support you and affirm you along your journey to recovery!
