ECLIPSE OF US
A summer froze inside a frame,
Two ghosts pressed to glass, no names.
Eclipse burns on the nightstand’s edge,
Our shadows stitch a hollow pledge.
Can I vanish into you?
Sirens scream, the sky’s torn through.
Time lies, says we never were—
But dying stars still whisper “Us”.
The sirens claw the moon’s pale cheek,
Your silhouette’s the air I breathe.
A flash, a spark, the night repeats:
“Burn with me where no dawn leaks.”
The eclipse drinks the sun’s last sigh,
Love’s a shadow where light goes to die.
We’re the ache in the clock’s tight wheel—
A borrowed breath the night can’t heal.
Can I vanish? Can we blur?
Two ghosts in a silent stir.
The photo fades, the glass stays cold—
Eclipse us where the dark takes hold.
