WE DO:
✅ Wash the lentils well to reduce the amount of starch
✅ fry the onion in vegetable oil and butter
✅ add tomato paste and flour to the onion, lightly fry, add spices and salt
✅ put the roast, washed lentils into the pan and add water 1:3 or 1:4 depends on the desired thickness of the soup
✅ cook the soup until the lentils are ready, about 20-30 minutes, puree
✅ Separately, in a well-heated vegetable oil, we throw a pinch of paprika, you can have a little adjika, coarsely chopped garlic - let it grab for a few seconds and remove the garlic, remove from heat. We serve such a fragrant dressing separately, add to the soup as desired.
✅ serve soup with spicy oil, paprika and garlic dressing with lemon wedges
