It turns out, she was on her way to the market and it was her first time taking the train so she was nervous. The girl then cancelled her plans for the day to help the stranger get to her destination.
The complicated train system can easily confuse a person who's never taken the train before. The woman used to wake up at 2 am in the morning to take the long commute to the market and then go home and sleep soon after. Now she's happy to take the train instead, knowing it can save her so much time.
When they got there, they were just in time. They were giving out freebies on at the site. And the woman even grabbed a ticket for her to exchange for the goodie basket later on.
Unfortunately, by then, it was too late and they weren't able to secure a good spot. Every good spot was taken. Just then, she ran into her friend from her village. There, he very kindly gave up half his spot for her.
Before the girl left she even help the woman understand the content of the basket. Including the basket, of course, a folding chair, a mug that warms water, scarf, gloves, and a matt to place her vegetables.
