Mr. Disco Kid began his career as a DJ and private record dealer in his teens. With his extensive knowledge of vinyl records, he has mastered the ability to curate a wide range of sounds, from unknown and rare grooves to house, techno, and world music, all while maintaining his unique groove and a musical vision that transcends genres.

In 2024, he will embark on a DJ tour across Europe. He performed a remarkable 7-hour set at Giant Steps in London, earning recognition from various corners of the music world. As a record dealer, he counts many renowned DJs and collectors, such as Gilles Peterson, Tuxedo, and Antal, among his clients. His passion lies in unearthing undiscovered records, creating value for them, and sharing them with the world.

“During the 1970s and 1980s, before the advent of the internet and social media, many talented musicians were unable to gain public attention due to a lack of promotion. Their dreams often lay dormant for decades in label warehouses and producers’ garages.
Today, however, we have the tools to bring their music back to life, giving their dreams a second chance.
I sincerely hope that these incredible works will reach as many people as possible, not just collectors and enthusiasts. May these forgotten masterpieces enjoy a glorious second life!”
