Laura Krieg is a Montreal-based Canadian synth artist, known for her "brutalist pop" sound which blends coldwave, post-punk, gothic punk, and industrial elements. She uses detached yet passionate vocals in both French and English, creating a sound reminiscent of early 1980s minimal synth projects. Her notable works include the albums Recherche spatiale (2018) and Crépuscule (2025), along with the EP Vie magique (2021). Krieg's music often explores themes of melancholy and the imminence of collapse.
