NOROMAKINA is an electronic music project formed in Bogotá Colombia in 2019 by Juan Manuel A.k.a Mel Zb. NOROMAKINA’s main focus is on making darkwave, post-punk and synthwave looking for lo-fi sounds, and for this purpose they use machines with classic and modern synthesizers, processed with dark and reverberant effects.

Conceptually NOROMAKINA is inspired by gothic art, nihilistic literature, brutalist architecture and retro horror movies. Noromakina’s second and latest album "Insomnia" (released Aug 30th, 2024) delivers 14 tracks in the dark electronic industrial style that Noromakina fans know and love - including some of his latest singles too formerly only released digitally. Crafted for the dancefloor, "Insomnia" delivers pulsating beats, haunting melodies, and an irresistibly dark atmosphere - blending the electrifying energy of synth sounds with modern production to create a unique and immersive experience.

In 2025 Noromakina will continue with a new set of singles working towards his third full-length release. Starting off with “Infinitrash” in April 2025, his new single “Requiem” (to be released on May 9th, 2025) is a pulse-pounding new single that fuses dark atmospheres with irresistible rhythm. Known for their signature blend of moody electronics and dancefloor-ready beats, Noromakina delivers a track that’s as haunting as it is hypnotic. “Requiem” pulses with energy, building layers of synth-driven tension into a cathartic release that’s tailor-made for late-night sets and immersive headphones alike. This is electronic music with a soul – and a heartbeat you can dance to.
