Curious, he went to check it out. A while ago, a viral video showed a woman began to paint a long stretch of sidewalk. The purpose was to make people more aware of blind people area of the sidewalk and not park their bikes or put things over the area so blind people are able to move around easier in cities when they go out.
That must have inspired this little girl to do the same thing. She saved up her lunch money to buy paints. She wants her sister to use the blind walkway easier.
The man was moved. He bought them snacks and drinks. And visited them in factory where their mother was working. Their mother works on weekends too. So is their father. She isn't in school because in order to be in school, she needed to have a parent present. To accompany her. To make sure she's safe. But both of them need to work.
It's a very hard life. The woman said she has trouble finding jobs because most people don't want to hire her to work in factories worries that if the child visit, she may get hurts. So she is very limited in her choice of employment.
She spent all the money trying to get help for her daughter. However, the daughter was born blind and there was nothing the doctors could do about it. It broke her heart that her daughter may never be able to see but thankfully technology is improving fast, hopefully she'll be able to see for the first time soon.
