14-year-old Alexis was selected as Quinceanera.com's 2013 Image, meaning that her image will appear on the promotional campaign for the Quinceanera planning and lifestyle brand throughout 2013. "I thought we were going to practice but when I saw my mom and the Quinceanera.com team, I started shaking," states Alexis. "It was an amazing surprise."

The surprise took place at South Gate High School's John Maloney Field during halftime of the school's first basketball home game. Quinceanera.com treated Alexis and her junior varsity cheer squad to pizza from local business Cousimano's Pizza & Italian Delicatessen.
