Hello internet, The goal of Episode 47 of '50 Shades of FM' is to demonstrate how easily you can create dark FM leads using simple modules in Bitwig's Polygrid.

For example, start with a basic sawtooth oscillator, adjust its shape using the shape knob, and then route it into a wavefolder with a high gain setting. Instantly, you'll achieve a pseudo FM timbre.

To spice it up, introduce two random modulators: one simple stepped S&H LFO and another S&G LFO. The S&H modulator will modulate the pitch of the oscillator by a value of -12St, while the S&G modulator will control both the shape of the oscillator and the gain of the wavefolder.
These modulations will result in a screaming lead when routed through a Sallen Key BP4 filter with a healthy dose of resonance applied.

And nothing complements a BP filter with lots of resonance better than a comb filter placed after it acting as a delay. That's exactly how I chose to finish this sound.
