A friend that runs a machine shop brought this unit to the shop for repair. Symptom dead! He told me it worked one day, dead the next. I initially suspected a bad switch, but found it was a bit more involved. Lucky, I have a background in machine building & repair. So, even though it is not D-lab's primary function, I took it on. The repair turned out to be minor. However without some systems knowledge it could have been very expensive, new control board or worse, buy a new mag Drill! It was a fun project, plus I like to help out other small businesses when I can.
