Detroit Techno & House Podcast 021: mlark mlarkBorn in 1973, Fife, Scotland into a family where music was heard constantly, I was brought up on 70’s rock mainly, such as Deep Purple & Led Zeppelin then onwards through the 80’s to Hip Hop, Rap then Acid House. This musical journey has led me on to my favourite genre of Techno with influences such as Dave Clarke, Inigo Kennedy and Jeff Mills to name a few.
The Techno I enjoy playing has an energetic driving sound which can lead on to some thunderous moments. The tracks I select and play are ones that make me feel good, I hope the audience catch that feeling too.
