This is the third recording in Exercise #1 of a Getting Started Series called iMachining Walkthrough, where I'll show you how to quickly and easily program a simple part step by step using SolidCAM's iMachining technology. In this video, the machining of the center pocket is defined. For this example, the geometry is defined as a closed pocket. Only the Geometry, Tool and Levels definitions are required; the iMachining Technology Wizard automatically produces the optimal Cutting conditions. A copy of the roughing operation is made and the finishing is defined by simply choosing iFinish for the Technology type.
