Republican lawmakers have stated that they are alarmed by Pete Hegseth’s decision to stop military aid to Ukraine and are launching an investigation into what happened. Kyrylo Budanov, Head of Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has stated that there is almost no chance of Russia seizing all of Donetsk Oblast by the end of 2025, but that there is a serious chance of Russia and Ukraine agreeing to a ceasefire before the year’s end.
