This is a simple fifteen beat cycle inside of a triplet pulse or 3(5)/15. The ping-pong progression of of I-IV-I-V is modified slightly by the occasional I dominant seventh chord which gives it a Seben flavor heard in Soukous music. The common thread is the basic chord progression found in music from cultures around the globe.
