It comes after US military intelligence gave an early assessment that most of Iran’s nuclear infrastructure actually survived the US strikes.
Trump dismissed the reports as “fake news”, which was later reiterated by his Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
But there are ongoing questions about whether the United States really crippled Iran’s nuclear program.
