Played a live show last Sunday at 404 Bar & Grill here in Nashville. I managed to record decent audio but didn't get my camera set up so I used some video that folks in the audience graciously shared with me.I didn't have enough video for the whole 40 minute (est.) set so I synced up a few clips to put them up here.
First time I've gotten people in this town to dance at a gig. I must say that felt good.
Technical Details:
Mostly I've bounced down stems, rhythms and loops from full tracks done in the studio and set them up as easily recalled tracks in my Roland SP-555. Sampling gives me access to every instrument in my studio without having to bring a truckload of gear on stage. I then supplement those triggers with live keys on the Yamaha Reface CP and the Roland JU-06A. I then sum everything into a Korg Kaoss DJ mixer which gives me EQ, performance effects and faders. Oh and I have a global filter on the SP as well.
