Lincoln just introduced the all-new Lincoln Aviator at the LA auto show.
This is a mid-size three-row utility that fits between the Nautilus and full-size navigator
There will be two distinct models offered, the regular gasoline model and what is called the grand touring, featuring a high performance hybrid powertrain, Utilizing and all-new RWD bias architecture, this new model offers a lot of options. All models sold in Canada will be AWD,
The Aviator is powered by a 3.0L twin-turbo with 400hp or a plug-n hybrid version, using the same gasoline engine to produce 450hp but 600lb.-ft. of torque.
It must be said that Lincoln is hitting it’s stride in terms of exterior design, the is a real looker, maybe Range Rover inspired.
The Aviator uses a 10-speed automatic transmission and is available with a dynamic air suspension with road preview, scanning the road ahead and then adjusting the suspension accordingly.
The interior features similar 30-way adjustable seats to the ones found in Navigator. There is a 12.3-inch digital dash, 28-speaker revel audio available and updated steering wheel, plus some cool new technology.
Lincoln really is rounding out its utility lineup, this new Aviator will be available in the spring of 2019, the grand touring hybrid will arrive in the fall of 2019
