G7 Summit: Russia Lives In Their Heads Rent Free

The G7 Summit in Canada has stated today, as the EU and UK leaders will mount pressure on Donald Trump to stop his trade war with Europe. Antonio Costa has sated that Europe cannot increase it’s defence spending as Trump wants, if it has to fight the trade war with the US. Ursula von der Leyen has urged the US to join the EU in their 18th sanctions package on Russia. Zelensky is also expected to meet Donald Trump on the sidelines of the G7 summit, after he has criticised Trump’s “friendly tone” with Putin. Poland will train 38000 Ukrainian soldiers as part of an EU mission.
