I had already provided an in-depth look at the vinyl version of this collection, emphasizing the thoughtful presentation and high-quality pressing of the records. However after seeing comments from viewers and readers who went out and bought the 4CD Box Set version is became apparent that this version also needed to be covered!

Like the Vinyl version The box set is organised into thematic sides, each presenting a different facet of the decade. From rock and roll and blues to folk and beyond.

The vinyl version included 24 tracks the CD version boasts over 70 tracks and with the extended 36 page booklet is the one to get. Anything that includes Montrose, Ellen Foley and Mott The Hoople is going to get my vote!
