Brand new one from still-young Jamaican rising talent Koffee, and it's titled: "Koffee". Not sure how the SEO (that's Search Engine Optimization, for those readers without an inherited job in internet marketing) works for this double-down on her name & song, but I'm here to help signal boost this one and let it find some more ears, if it hasn't reached you already.

That's how it came to me: word of mouth. My great friend/MC Shad tipped me to Koffee's tight flow, and that's a good enough co-sign for me to listen. Indeed, it's on point - "riding the beat" with ease over the midtempo bouncy drums. Catchy rhyme patterns and melodic flows propel the song forward through the verses and land at a breezy chorus.

Braggadocious? Sort of -- sounds more like confidence, to me. And I'm here for it. I'd love to hear more Koffee in sets and on the radio. "Toast" has become one of my more played songs of the last decade, nearing (chill) anthem status and I think she has potential to do more. This is a step in the right direction. Let's see what happens next.
