‘Steve Bannon’s War Room’ co-host Natalie Winters reacts to the appointment of Pope Leo XIV, highlighting his history of sharing “very anti-Trump” content.

“It’s only America first to celebrate that the Pope is actually born in America … I think he’s a registered Republican, but I think the pros stop there,” Ms Winters told Sky News host Rowan Dean.

“He has a litany, whether it’s old tweets, old writings, sharing articles from people who have, like you said, demeaned, smeared and attacked President Trump, the MAGA movement.

“Relatively, I think when you compare him to his predecessor … I don’t think anyone here in the United States, particularly in the MAGA wing of things, had any high hopes.”
