"Here Comes the Sun" is a song by the English band The Beatles from their 1969 album Abbey Road, written and sung by George Harrison. Harrison composed the song in 1969 while spending a day at the countryside home of his friend Eric Clapton.
The Beatles recorded "Here Comes the Sun" in 1969 at London's EMI Studios. The song is centered around Harrison's acoustic guitar and features a Moog synthesizer, which Harrison introduced after acquiring an early model in California.
