Divine forgiveness is expansive, generous, unlimited; love does not allow us to set a limit on forgiveness. The inability to forgive is linked to mental illness, so forgiveness is not an option, but a necessity. Pastor Zhuang teaches 5 things about forgiveness we must understand: one, forgiveness is not forgetting the offence, but accepting it and healing from it. Two, forgiveness is not excusing wrong behaviour, but being responsible for recovering from the offence. Three, forgiveness is a pardon, and the only person needed in this act is you. Four, forgiveness is a decision you make that sets you free from your offender. Five, forgiveness is a process: it is decisional, which take a moment, and emotional, which takes time. Let this message guide you to becoming more Christlike and forgiving those who have offended you.
