What does this track do?
This isochronic tones session helps to correct a hemispheric imbalance that is common in depressed individuals. Persistently depressed people tend to have an overactive right (emotional) hemisphere. This tone session reduces the dominant activity in the right brain hemisphere while increasing activity in the left. The aim is to try and give more control over the left (logical) brain and reduce irrational and overly emotional thought patterns.
Headphones are essential for this track to work correctly.
This track sends a different speed of isochronic beat into each ear so that you can target each side of the brain differently. You need headphones to isolate each ear.
The left ear (which influences the opposite right brain) starts at 14Hz and ramps to 10Hz.
The right ear (which influences the opposite left brain) starts at 10Hz and ramps up to 20Hz.
In the last 10 minutes of the track, the right ear ramps down to 10Hz to balance both sides.
How does it work?
This brainwave entrainment audio session uses isochronic tones combined with a rain and singing bowls soundtrack. If brainwave entrainment and isochronic tones are new concepts for you, there is some information about that and how it works: .
Amplitude modulation effects have been applied to the rain and singing bowls part of the track to add further power to the stimulation. The modulations produce soothing vibrations that are synced with the isochronic tones. More info on how these mind music effects work is here: .
