How to install silt fence / silt barrier properly.

Many people install silt fence wrongly because they never tuck in the skirt (the bottom end 4 - 6 inches) into the ground. When installing a silt fence you have to dig a trench to embed the bottom skirt portion at least 4 - 6 inches into the ground.

Do not buy silt fence from Home Depot, they cost about $150 three times more. Buy from Amazon for only $58 delivered.
