This Shine EP was released in 1989. RIP Andy Wood. This band is my favorite late 80's Seattle band. In the final days of Green River, Stone and Jeff Ament disagreed with Mark Arm about the direction of the band so they went their seperate ways. Stone and Jeff wanted to find a major label and play rock and roll for the world, Mark wanted stay independent and keep close to his punk roots. It's exactly what happened to both. Stone and Jeff eventually formed Pearl Jam and played to the world many time over and Mark stayed independent with Mudhoney but eventually signed to Reprise. They played to to the world but never had big success :(
