Today was time to re-connect our proper deep freezer unit to the power and begin the process of chilling it down to operating temperature. The ten volt battery back was of much assistance here, allowing me to leave it on all night without any worry about pushing the main 24 volt bank too much.
I have left the "thermal battery" arrangement in there exactly the same as last freezer season. I did think about changing it, but in the end couldn't be fucked! lol
