John Marshall - Ruby / Marshall, Donovan, Broomfield - Since I Found My Baby

James Brown produced a couple of 45's for local Augusta artist John Marshall, also released via Pure Heat Records is a cover of "Hank Ballard's" - "Thrill On The Hill" & "Finger Poppin' Time", which features James Brown on the intro of the B-side, which is near impossible to find.

This catchy little number from one time member of "Marshall, Donovan, Broomfield" Who released a few 45's via the local Augusta Records label in 1978 & 1980, which are now very expensive collectors items on the rare soul scene.

As a bonus, included here 'Since I Found My Baby' (not a JB Prod') which would cost £500 if you find a copy for sale, released in 1978. 5 years later John was destine to be produce by the Godfather Of Soul with the track Ruby which appeared in 1983, not to be forgotten, again in 1991 James Brown produced John Marshall yet again with his cover of the Ben E King soul classic.

Unfortunately I was unable to find any images of John Marshall or the group "Marshall, Donovan, Broomfield".
