A video showcasing an early Omnimaga PC release: The Reign of Legends 0 (Le Règne des Légendes 0), a Windows 98 treasure hunting spinoff from the ROL TI-83 Plus Silver Edition & TI-84 Plus RPG series. The song was supposed to be used in a remake of the game.Since this game was done within about 8-9 hours (spanning through 4 months due to limited computer access) with limited resources (Visual Basic 6 on 300 MHz/64 MB/1 GB HDD computers), the game is very short, lacks battles and runs at choppy frame rate even on newer computers. It also doesn't seem to run on Windows Vista and Seven.
The crappy graphics were kinda intentional at the time, though, since I aimed for a retro style (I was even the only person in the programming class this project was for to use tile-maps and to even know how to code them altogether). However, due to being forced to set the game to 800x600 and due to limited knowledge of 16 bit game graphical specs at the time, the game sprites and tiles looks very weird.
Nonetheless, now you can finally watch how this very early Omnimaga release looked like if you are unable to run the game.
The music is not from this game (at least, not this version).
