70's Philadelphia/NYC punk band Pure Hell recorded live for
Terre T's Cherry Blossom Clinic on New Jersey's WFMU

Formed in 1974 in Philadelphia this really underrated band were
the first all black punk band who also predated Bad Brains.
The great BB even cited these guys as early influences of theirs.
In 1978 Pure Hell supported Sid Vicious when he moved
to New York as well as many others of the 70's punk elite before
splitting up in 1979. The band reformed again in 2010 but
unfortunately without original drummer Michael Sanders
aka Spider who died in 2002....RIP.
