United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said his visit to Somalia was one of “solidarity” with the people of the Horn of Africa nation which is battling a series of challenges, including drought and insecurity. Guterres wants donor countries to scale up their funding to help address these challenges noting that humanitarian agencies have received just 15 percent of the 2.6 billion U.S. dollars needed.
