It has been one year today, since the Tropicana Las Vegas closed it's doors on April 02, 2024. You can see in today's video how much demolition has been done in this past year. Both towers have been completely removed and it appears like there is nothing left to remove out of the ground. I added some photos and video in the middle of this video to show the progress that has been made. Most photos were taken from the OYO parking deck. From the looks of everything, I would say the demolition is complete. They are just finishing up breaking up and remove concrete. Ground breaking for the new Athletics baseball stadium should be sometime around June 2025. I will keep you updated with these videos once I find out any new dates.
