We met with Emily and Chris a long time ago, talking about their (also awesome) plans for a Minnesota wedding but upon our follow up a handful of weeks later, we were met with the most awesome news! "We've had a change of plans, we're going to get married in one of our favorite places, Glacier National Park."
We knew immediately that this would be a highlight of our wedding season, but we had no idea just how special this weekend would be. From the epic sights, to the thoughtful touches, Emily and Chris thought of everything. They treated their guests to the best that Glacier has to offer, while incorporating personal touches throughout the day that made it so incredibly special.
Funny enough, before meeting for their first date, Emily and Chris had each individually ventured out to Glacier National Park in just the past few weeks, giving them an awesome topic to bond over. The traveling didn't stop there however, these two are adventurers at heart, having been all over the world (we actually met Emily for the first time in Ecuador!).
Their day was beautiful, a task that is easily achieved with a Glacier National Park wedding, but it was also so uniquely "them." The locations they chose, the people they surrounded themselves with, and the events for the entire weekend reflected who these two are individually and as a couple.
The weekend took place just outside Glacier National Park at Bison Creek Ranch, which served as home base for their closest friends and family and there were daily adventures into the park leading up to the wedding day.
The wedding day itself was a perfect mix of love and adventure. Everyone got ready at the ranch before heading to East Glacier for the first look. Let's just take a minute to set the scene of this absurdly epic first look location. Chris waited for Emily on a huge rock that juts out over the lake, surrounded by mountains. Never have we seen such an amazing first look location.
After Chris and Emily shared a special moment together, we spent the afternoon making our way back to Pray Lake in East Glacier National Park, stopping at many beautiful locations along the way!
They held their ceremony on the edge of Pray Lake, a beautifully rocky shore surrounded by mountains, and even ventured into the water to symbolize their marriage as they said I do.
From there everyone made their way back to Bison Creek Ranch for a night of wonderful food, speeches, and dancing.
